Amazon India’s STEP Quarterly Evaluation
From January 1, 2024, to March 31, 2024, Amazon India will evaluate sellers’ performance and assign them to one of four STEP levels: Basic, Standard, Advanced, or Premium. This categorization aims to recognize and reward sellers based on their overall performance.
Amazon Partners with Intuit for Enhanced Seller Financial Solutions
Amazon has expanded its collaboration with Intuit to offer sellers access to advanced financial management tools directly within Seller Central. This integration enables sellers to manage their accounting, taxes, and lending solutions with ease, streamlining their business operations.
Amazon’s Performance Targets for FBA Sellers
Amazon sets strict performance benchmarks for its sellers. If a seller’s performance rating exceeds the acceptable limits, Amazon may automatically deactivate their product listings. In cases where the ratings significantly exceed the targets, Amazon may suspend the seller’s account entirely.
Viewing Seller Feedback
Sellers can access their feedback by logging into their account, navigating to Received Messages under Feedback Genius, and clicking on the Seller Feedback tab. This allows sellers to monitor their performance and identify areas for improvement.
Tips for Sellers to Enhance Performance
- Leverage Sales Data: Analyze historical sales trends to understand demand patterns and optimize your inventory.
- Maintain Stock Levels: Develop a robust replenishment strategy to ensure adequate stock is available at all times.
- Avoid Stranded Inventory: Regularly check that your product listings are accurate, active, and compliant to prevent inventory issues.
Implementing these strategies can help sellers improve their operational efficiency and enhance their performance on Amazon.
